Identical twins Viggy and Virginia Qwabe respond to people calling them ugly
Identical twin sister Viggy and Virginia Qwabe have responded to people calling ugly.
The Qwabe twins are many Idols SA viewers’ favourites on the show but it’s not all rosy for them – they have to handle negativity as well as praise. Some people are saying the ladies are not attractive enough to win the competition, but they don’t mind what is being said.
Viggy and Virginia have been fan favourites since they first blew the Idols SA audience and judges away with their singing talents.
Since then, they have impressed again and again, and their admirers are confident they’ll win the singing competition this year.
They have received a lot of love from Mzansi. Sadly, the girls have also been on the receiving end of negativity.
During an interview with Drum magazine, the ladies said they have to cope with it being said they are too ugly for Idols.
Virginia feels that looks have nothing to do with winning the competition, and VIggy agrees.
“I’ve never seen a talented person not make it to Idols because they were called ugly. Talent counts – beauty can be bought.”
The two have been raised with enough love to share with people who are unhappy, Virginia said.
“At home, our parents, family and community give us the love we need and we have enough to share it with people who are unhappy. We were raised to love and respect people.”
